Tufts University: Valerie Anishchenkova - Arabic - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Review:
Professor Anishchenkova, or Valerie, is the best professor I have had at Tufts. She is challenging, to be sure, but you learn a lot. She is extremely nice and understanding, and really knows how to teach the material. She is readily available if you need help, or just want to talk. And while her class can be a bit nerve-wracking at times, she makes up for it with her hilarious sense of humor.
Workload:
Arabic is not an easy language, and you do need to do the homework, but overall the class wasn't too bad. It was a basic level 2 language course.

Review:
Prof. A is a wonderful teacher who truly cares about her student?s progress. Frequent exercises helped students gain a better grasp on the language and office hours were tremendous useful.
Workload:
There is a lot of work and the class is very demanding, but if you work hard and commit to learning the language you'll do fine.
