Tufts University: Sameer Sonkusale - Electrical Engineering - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Professor Sonkusale is very enthusiastic about the course. He explains the concepts very clearly in class and lectures at a decent pace. He is a very good lecturer and communicates very well. He covers a lot of material in one semester and I learned a lot more than some of my other courses. However, the workload is much much much greater in this course than any other courses I have taken here at Tufts. Professor Sameer knows this and as such, grades accordingly.

The work load is insane for this course. The labs literally take 15-25 hours to complete (two week labs) and the final project is very time consuming. My group worked on it for about 150 total hours during finals and we still didn?t finish. I don't think any group finished the project. The final project is due during the middle of finals, and that will take up all of your free time when you are not studying for other finals. Despite the labs and final project, the Homework?s aren?t too bad. There are two tests in the course, 1 in class and 1 take home. Some questions were quite ambiguous and rather unclear on what he wanted for an answer. Obviously, the take home test is much more difficult than the in class one, since it is open book.
