Tufts University: CH107 - Science and Practice of Medicine - Community Health - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccessReview:
So yes, this course is interesting. Prof. Glickman-Simon is a good lecturer. And you get exposed to medical stuff that you'd otherwise never get as an undergrad. The assignments are hands-on, you have interesting topics. BUT Prof. Glickman-Simon is an extremely tough grader on papers, and his exams are extremely difficult. This isn't a light class to throw in if you have some free time. The reading is not connected to classwork at all, but you are expected to know all of med school for the exams.

Readings were helpful to understanding of course material covered in class, but not imperative to learning. Assignments were fairly straightforward, and spaced out such that never felt overwhelmed.
