Tufts University: CR010PH - Feminist Theologies - Comparative Religion - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccessReview:
Peggy is the best professor I've had in two years of college (and at two colleges). Her class (Feminist Theologies) was informative and interesting and student driven, she was passionate about her subject and wonderfully well informed. All she expects is that you are interested enough in the subject matter to try to do the reading, and to show up prepared for intelligent and controversial conversation. Her one weak point is her difficulty tolerating contradicting views, which is why I would recommend her for Feminist Theologies before I would for her Intro to Old or New Testament classes. But taking a class with Peggy should be required for graduation: it will challenge your worldview in a very necessary way.
Workload:
Yes, there were insane amounts of reading assigned. More than some Fletcher classes. But there aren't very many written assignments and almost every assignment was worth rereading and pondering over, so don't let it get in your way. TAKE THIS CLASS!
