Review:
Do not take this class. Period. Anyone who has taken this class will tell you the instructor was terrible. She is incredibly boring, uses the same 3 phrases to describe everything, and never actually explains to you what design is. Her teaching consists of handing out photo copies that you are expected to read at home. The projects are mostly boring, and completely pointless. There is no other way to describe her grading without using the word whack. She slaps a grade on the back of every project, usually without any kind of comment. i have a theory that if she sees you spending a lot of time on something, that?s what she'll tell you to change. Basically your opinion means nothing, and if you don?t do exactly what she says than you get a bad grade. She never explains the projects well. I don?t think she means to be this boring, she?s generally a nice person, but save yourself the headache.

Workload:
Way too much work. For a class that meets twice a week for 3.5 hours each time, there should not be this much outside work. Plus, there is a museum visit, paper, countless projects, a final project, and a final test.
