Tufts University: Isabella Perricone - Italian - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Isabella Perricone | ITAL002 - Elementary Italian 2 | Italian2006-06-04

Review:
Prof. Perricone was a great professor for both Italian 0001 and 0002. She has a great sense of humor, really cared about class progress, and encouraged students staying after for office hours if they were having trouble. She was availible almost everyday after class.

Workload:
The workload for this class was pretty standard for a foreign language class at Tufts. Nightly grammar readings from the text, a weekly writing and listening exercise, and the occasional paper. Not overbearing.

Isabella Perricone | ITAL001 - Elementary Italian 1 | Italian2004-10-29

Review:
Fantastic professor. Regrettably, I had to drop the class before the course was over, but for the two months I was in it, Isabella was a wonderful teacher. She is always willing to help, and you can tell that she really wants each student to succeed. I learned a ton from her; she is always full of energy and does her best to make class interesting. All in all, highly recommended.

Workload:
Decent amount of work, but it is mostly since you are starting a new language from scratch. Most work is done on your own (memorizing vocab, reviewing concepts before class) to prepare for what you are going to learn in class. A few small compositions, a few tests... all in all, very manageable. Assignments weren't confusing, and the professor was always willing to help. Tests were not bad at all... everything you need to know is in the book and taught in class.

Isabella Perricone | ITAL001 - Elementary Italian 1 | Italian2004-07-12

Review:
I loved this class. Prof. Perricone was awesome- friendly, knowledgeable, understanding, and she really cared about the student and the Italian language. She had a great sense of humor and was just pleasant to be around.

Workload:
She stuck to the assigned syllabus, which I was very thankful for, having had teachers who strayed widely from what they originally intended. As long as you keep on top of the work, everything will go well.

Isabella Perricone | ITAL001 - Elementary Italian 1 | Italian2004-04-09

Review:
Isabella is really upbeat and a great professor to start your day with. She's really fun and keeps the class moving right along. She also really cares about how you're doing and making sure you're learning the language. A great professor.

Workload:
The workload follows the normal curriculum syllabus for Italian 1&2: grammar exercises, listening exercises, compositions, and chapter tests. Two films are also included each term.
