Review:
Rana was one of the most amazing professors in the program. He was open, honest and presents some pretty dry material in an extremely interesting fashion. Rana clearly explained how to interpret financial statements and metrics. He will you introduce to a system for vetting ideas that is easily transferable to real life situations. I would attend any lecture given by Rana Gupta.

Review:
He is great! Every lecture he will ask students if they have questions before he starts and he tries to encourage students to involve in discussion. His office hours are usually before and after each lecture, so it is hard to seek help when you have assignment due, but he responses to email within several hours.
Workload:
Assignments are straightforward and he'll go over each question after the assignment has been turned in. There are some small group projects during the semester, but nothing complicated.

Review:
This course will not teach you a thing about finance, except that Venture Capitalists are selfish, greedy human beings. His grading is inconsistent, his lectures unorganized, and his class discussions full of awkward silences. I would not recommend any one take a class with this Professor, he is unmotivating as he is unknowledgeable.
Workload:
Not much work, but his grading is irrational.
