Tufts University: Paul Waldau - Comparative Religion - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Review:
Awesome Professor, really kind, super smart, INCREDIBLY open to alternative views, takes an active interest in students' progress. The course, on the other hand, while at times fascinating, was a little unfocused, probably due to it being so specific, and lacking enough scholarly material (i.e. a textbook) to use. Still, it is worth it to get to know this guy, class discussions were great. a good random class to add on to fulfill a requirement, but you don?t learn anything at all really, factually. Lots of questioning and critical thinking, but little factual learning.
I think I would recommend taking religion and ecology, as it has more substance to it, but would share all the positive traits of this class
Workload:
Low, low workload. Easy weekly readings, really easily graded midterm, class participation a must, and then a massive 20 page final paper. Other than the paper, cake walk
