Tufts University: CLS027 - Intro to Classical Archaeology - Classics - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccessReview:
This class was definitely one of the best I've taken and I really looked forward to going. "Double-T" as he is known is hilarious and really enthusiastic. He knows what he?s talking about. You end up learning a lot about statues and building, but you also learn about a lot of random folklore and mythology which was cool. It?s also a great way to take care of an art requirement.
Workload:
Very little reading involved, but you definitely have to go to class and take a lot of notes. Midterms and finals are hard. The format for the midterm and final is clearly explained before hand, there?s just sooo much to know. I found cramming actually works well. A good 12-15hrs the day before the test. There are a couple papers too, but really easy.

Tufts University: CLS027 - Intro to Classical Archaeology - Classics - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccessReview:
Professor Tuck is a great guy, and a really interesting lecturer, but sometimes (a lot of the time) he rambles and can be somewhat unclear. He will entertain you a ton with his funny stories. The class is very comprehensive so expect to get a general understanding of each period rather than in-depth knowledge on a few pieces of art.
Workload:
A chapter of reading per class, two midterms, two 2-3 page papers, and a final.
