Review:
Noonan is without a doubt a great guy. Unfortunately there is always a line outside his office now that he is chair of the department. Hes very responsive when you go to his office, though he doesnt really respond all that great to emails other than "see me." But, all that said, he is a really really great guy and is a relaly interesting person. His classes are best when you actually read the book, but he is obviously very smart!!!
Workload:
Its going to be tough - but you will get a lot out of it.

Review:
Nooner as most people would like to call him is awesome. He usually teaches higher level courses so he knows the material here very well. The only downfall is that he doesn't seem to know what is going to be on the tests very well but he will fight for you in the grading of them. He will also boost you grade a bunch if he sees you?re trying or even if you don't really try but he likes you (which isn't hard) he will hook it up.
Workload:
Nooner had no choice with this since the department assigns all the work. Each class has the same HW and tests. He doesn't help you out with the due dates if possible. TAKE HIM IF POSSIBLE.

Review:
Noonan is awesome. He is very down to earth and will help you out with any problems that you are having in the class. I learned a lot from his class while not having to really stress out about it that much. He hooks you up with the grades at the end if you show that you have been trying all semester. If you have a chance to take him - do it.
Workload:
He didn't really have a choice here the class I took him for had the same workload no matter which teacher you had. He helped us out with some of the problems before the problem sets were due -- so it was good. He is a very straightforward individual and does everything he can to get you prepared for the tests.
