Tufts University: Carla Brodley - Computer Science - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Review:
The class was extremely interesting - a broad range of topics, augmented with some hands-on programming (which distinguishes this course from other similar courses). Brodley is a good lecturer but, unfortunately, extremely inflexible. You may experience unfair grading: if a project is hard, everyone's likely to be "bumped up" so that there's no difference between those who really know the material and those who just barely made it, while individual grading may suffer.
Workload:
There's some work, indeed, with the programming projects (don't expect it to be an easy "overview" course) - but it doesn't compare with the legendary ones (Data Structures and Operating Systems).
