Review:
I did not like this class. period. Once teaching becomes a "job" for a professor.. it is all downhill from there. That's the feeling I got from Prof. Dunn. His method of grading the final project (business plan) baffled me completely.. I don?t think there was any set method of grading. The exact same ?B grade according to Dunn? business plan was selected as a finalist in a business plan competition.
Case studies do not have one "correct" answer and most professors who KNOW how to teach case studies know that. The final consisted of a case study and I have absolutely no idea as to how he graded it. Even on emailing him about this -- and he really did not have a good answer. I enjoyed all my other ELS courses, except this one (I am doing the minor). Take this ELS101 with another professor if you can.
