Review:
I love her style in lecturing, and I think she makes the class very interesting with discussions,group projects, documentaries,and external speakers (who are experts on their research fields). If you want to learn more about Islam and Gender role in Muslim societies, you should take this course :)

Workload:
Weekly short papers (on chapters and documentaries) are required. Participation is more important than attendance. Grading is very fair and you learn a lot through the class.
