Tufts University: ANTH135 - VISUAL ANTHROPOLOGY - Anthropology - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Kevin Anderson | ANTH135 - VISUAL ANTHROPOLOGY | Anthropology2005-11-09

Review:
He is quite animated in class, but he very stubborn and not understanding when you go to him with questions outside of class. He is a bit cocky (but doesn't back it up with substance). The class is so disjointed. He jumps from topic to topic each week. At the end of the semester, I felt like I knew about random little topics, but did not have an idea of visual anthropology as a whole. Honestly, this has been my most boring class at Tufts. Easy classes aren't always good classes. Anyways, there are other easy classes that are interesting:)

Workload:
Yes, the class is pretty easy. Easy assignments that you could do without ever really doing the readings. It is very easy to bullshit assignments and discussions. Two interesting large projects.

Kevin Anderson | ANTH135 - VISUAL ANTHROPOLOGY | Anthropology2005-10-26

Review:
Prof Anderson is great, he's funny and makes lectures interesting. You won't get bored in his class.

Workload:
Very easy. 6 pop quizzes through the semester on the readings, but they're very general questions and he drops the lowest grade. He keeps papers short and doesn't assign nightly homework.

Kevin Anderson | ANTH135 - VISUAL ANTHROPOLOGY | Anthropology2005-06-05

Review:
Professor Anderson is great! He is very enthusiastic about the subjects that he teaches and loves to hear student opinions and ideas. Very supportive, informative, and interesting!

Workload:
Weekly readings and assignments were easy yet interesting. A few larger projects/essays took more time, but were surprisingly fun. Overall, the workload is not too bad, and grading is fair.
