Tufts University: Roni Khardon - Computer Science - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Review:
Prof. Khardon's lectures were very dry. He seems to be on top of the subject, but he makes little effort to make the material interesting to students.
Workload:
6 homeworks, 1 project, mid-term and final exams. The reading and homeworks took up more time than the hw for most courses. Grades on individual questions are often all or nothing (with each question being worth 15% or more of the assignment). Even if you demonstrate a general understanding of the concept, you still receive 0 credit for a problem if your answer isn't exactly what he was looking for. Also, 20% penalty per day for late assignments. The grading is far too harsh, and 10% per day late is the fair standard.
