Review:
Mehmet Ali Sanlikol is a really laid-back and encouraging teacher. The class environment is really comfortable and base on student participation. Sanlikol introduces aspects of Ottoman history and culture to deepen the understanding of the Ottoman Music.You do not need to know the Turkish language to understand the class since he translates all the lyrics of Turshih-Ottoman songs. Great teacher and great class.

Workload:
Base on learning and practicing in class. No papers and no reading assignments.
