Tufts University: Nalini Ambady - Psychology - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Review:
This was the worst class that I have taken at Tufts. The class was extremely unorganized and the Professor did not seem to care about it at all. Prof. Ambady doesn't return e-mails, nor does she know how to use SPSS (the program that students are required to use). There is not much to do in class however, as the main focus of the course is completing a semester-long research project. If you decide to take this class, be sure to inquire as to what is specifically required for each assignment, and take care when choosing classmates with whom you would like to work. With a good group, this class can be bearable...but just barely.
Workload:
Complete all steps required for a formal APA paper. IRB, intro/methods, full paper, two presentations, a poster, and a paper describing group performance. Picture what you did in 32 but much much longer. The assignments were not well-defined (see above), nor were their due dates provided until at least halfway through the semester.
