Review:
Professor Carlin is awesome. If you pay attention to what he is saying, it is actually pretty easy to follow along. He is more than willing to answer questions and does a thorough job. He is also really good at making time outside of class to help out. Try to take advantage of his help in the lab sessions since he is nice enough to come to them. He has a lot to offer and is truly just a really really nice guy. His class is hard, but he is an awesome teacher.

Workload:
Not a lot of work--but sometimes it is quite difficult. No regular reading or homework, but the assignments that he does offer are quite difficult and hefty. Labs are annoying, but a great opportunity to learn the material well.
