Review:
This wasn't a very good course. The lectures were completely unorganized and basically consisted of her talking while we frantically tried to write down what might be important. I wouldn't recommend taking a spanish course with her, I think her original focus was french.

Workload:
The readings were pretty boring, sometimes longer than others.

Review:
Professor Howe is one of the most enthusiastic professors I have ever had at Tufts! She walks into class with a big bag and proceeds to pull out all these props for the poem/story that is being read. It is wonderful! She acts out parts too and we all participate...if anything it is amusing early in the morning and it helps you to remember all the little details you might not have though of..

Workload:
There were 5 essays throughout the semester but they were very short...She didn't announce these on the course handout but she gave you plenty of time to complete them. There were 2 midterms and they were very fair for the course.
