I enjoyed this class very much. Prof. Hernandez is engaging and I feel that students were more involved and comfortable in the classrooom than in the 30-level classes I've taken. All the readings were interesting.
Workload:
The workload wasn't too intense-- one presentation, two five page papers and a final ten page paper, but no exams. There's a short play or act of a play to read for each class, but I found the readings enjoyable and not overly time consuming.

Kathy is extremely nice and caring. She is concerned with her students' progress and is available outside of the classroom. I would definitely take another class with her.
Workload:
We read on average a play a week or every two weeks. Although there was a lot of reading, it was enjoyable and plays are easy to read in my opinion, so they went by faster. There was a final, and 2 papers, the last paper being 10 pages.
