Tufts University: Sarah Sobieraj - Sociology - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Review:
Professor Sobieraj is an engaging lecturer and is extremely concerned with student progress. She is easily reachable by email and always does her best to accommodate. She is really enthusiastic about course material. I would definitely love to take another class with her, she's one of my favorites at Tufts.
Workload:
Assignments were well chosen and straightforward. Everyone else is complaining about reading responses, but they weren't really too bad. You have to do responses 12 times throughout the semester, and mine were usually 1-2 pages. They were sort of just a reflection on what you read. I didn't spend that much time on them and I got a really good grade. Tests are do-able, the only thing I didn't like was the group project because I got a crappy group. Decent amount of work, but definitely not the worst class ever like some people made it out to be.
