Tufts University: Christopher Morse - Chemistry - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Review:
Chem 2 is harder than Chem 1. But, Morse's clear explanations in class and his brilliant TAs at recitation make the concepts understandable. Morse uses real life examples of chemistry fundamentals to explain why it?s important for us to know these abstract concepts. Not only do you learn about chemistry, but you learn about car batteries, what types of alcohols can get you drunk, how carbon dating works and more. I love how he incorporates the real work (and pop culture) into his class. His energy and clarity makes this very hard introductory class enjoyable most of the time and at least bearable the other times.
Workload:
A LOT OF WORK. Expect to spend several hours every Thursday night on problems sets. Tests are also hard and require a lot of studying (USE THE PRACTICE TESTS)! The labs are a pain but don't take that much time.
