Tufts University: Malik Mufti - Political Science - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
This professor was well versed in this topic, and the class was small and intimately set. He was very enthusiastic about this topic.
However, sometimes it felt like the class discussions were somewhat staged, and that there were views and types of students he preferred to have expressed.
Although the class was well organized and carried out, it unfortunately did not have any practical applications. The expectations for assignments were not clear, and more guidence would have been helpful.
Professor Mufti did hold office hours regularly, but was often unavailable because he would be socializing in his office, leaving you to wait for extended periods of time in the polsci office, where there was no seating. He also has a habbit of making students painfully aware of his superior knowledge and status, which can be intimidating at times.

The class reading was copious and dry, and difficult to get through. The final paper was extremely hard work and not well outlined in terms of expectations and content.
Over all, I left this class feeling like I did a lot of work, gained a lot of knowledge, of which I could not use outside the confines of extremely specialized academic concentrations.
