Tufts University: Mary Boyatt - Spanish - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Review:
"Penelope" as we called her was more like a lovable grandmother than a Spanish professor. She definitely had enthusiasm for the course, but Tufts is probably not the right place for her to teach. To learn the grammar, you had to read and study the book as lectures were very conversation centered. Although I enjoyed the semester, I probably would not take another class with this professor.
Workload:
You were expected to read the textbook and learn grammar on your own. Tests (about every 2-3 weeks) and final exam weren't difficult if you'd studied. There were several compositions over the course of the semester and rewrites were required. Workbook pages were due before every test.
