Tufts University: BIO132 - Biostatistics - Biology - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccessReview:
A very useful course and a must for anybody interested in biology. Personally I feel this is the one of the most useful course offered at Tufts.
Dr. Lewis is a great Prof. who is interested in her subject as well as her students.

Tufts University: BIO132 - Biostatistics - Biology - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccessReview:
The material is dry, but it's to be expected with biostatistics. The book is excessively boring, but Sara Lewis is easily among the best professors I've had at Tufts. She's very bright and can convey her knowledge to the class so that it's clear and makes sense. She stays on topic, moves at a brisk pace, and actually gets ahead of her own syllabus without overworking the class. I'm kinda amazed. Course is a must have for anyone who is involved in or reads research.
Workload:
The text (Samuels) is pretty boring. It does help tie things together, though. The problem sets are more useful for learning, and there is one assigned every week. They are pretty pertinent to the material covered on the tests and relevant if you're conducting research of any type. The workload is very reasonable.
