Tufts University: HIST027 - IMPERIAL RUS 1689-1855 - History - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccessReview:
This guy really knows his stuff. He can be a little dry and boring, before you get used to him, but he really has an exceptional knowledge for the material. If you're interested in Russian history, this is definitely a course to take.
Workload:
The reading was very straight-forward and easy. He assigns material from a primary-source book, which you don't have to read. The course has a couple 4-5 page papers, which are easy to write. The last class before the weekend over which you do the paper, he more or less writes an outline of how your paper should look on the board. If you follow that, and do decent research, there should be no problem.
