Tufts University: Eli Siegel - Biology - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Review:
Anyone who takes this course, most likely knows what to expect from Dr. Siegel. Yes, he can be dry and monotonous, but he manages to pack plenty of information into each lecture. The topics covered were very interesting and the workload was relatively light. Very fair exams and an easy extra credit project. Also, there was practically no curve.
Workload:
The textbook was useless, I never read it. Do read the papers, although Dr. Siegel will go over the important points in great detail. TAKE VERY GOOD NOTES. All of the exams (4) were open book and the key to doing well is to take excellent notes. Dr. Siegel tends to ask questions about topics that he mentioned only once. By the end of the course, I noticed that half the class recorded the lectures.
