Tufts University: Margaret McMillan - Economics - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Review:
This class was great for three major reasons:
1) Prof. Mcmillan is probably one of the nicest persons in the world
2) There was tons and tons of class discussions, because the class was small everyone was able to add their views.
3) Topics were highly relevant and tailored to what you wanted to learn because the students chose their individual topics
Workload:
Main thing was to stay with the reading because it is all discussed and in a small class it is easily noticed if you don't know anything. Midterm and problem sets were straightforward. Also a research paper OR two policy proposals.

Review:
Professor M is perhaps one of the best in the econ dept. She's quite laid back, a little spacey on occasion but generally a lot of fun. She loves class participation but don't be surprised to be cut down to size if you ramble on incorrectly..
Workload:
Workload was just perfect. Some boring reading from time to time but NOTHING too hard.
