Tufts University: David Proctor - History - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Review:
Overall a pretty good professor. He basically reads well written for lectures, but he actually looks at them pretty rarely. He seems to know everything related to the lecture off the top of his head. Because of this, his lectures can be enthusiastic, for his personality. He can come off as a little pompous, but he?s actually quite helpful if you approach him. The tests are extremely straightforward, and if you go to the review sessions you will know, almost exactly, what will be on the exams. The only really annoying thing is his exam turnaround time - I had to wait 4 weeks for my first exam grade.
Workload:
Reading can become tedious, but nothing bad at all. Maybe 3-4 hours of weekly reading, at most. The weekly essays for required sections are a little dull, but they force you to review essential material.
