Tufts University: EC161 - International Trade - Economics - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccessReview:
I don't know why Professor Brown has such a bad reputation. I know she's not the warmest person outside of the classroom, but she is a great professor. Her lectures were very organized, and she successfully integrated the class into discussion. She taught me a lot about a subject I wasn't too interested in prior to taking the class. Also, the final exam was optional, and she bumped my grade quite a bit because I took the final (per her request).
Workload:
Three exams that aren't too difficult if you do your studying. Light textbook reading. Not too difficult.

Tufts University: EC161 - International Trade - Economics - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccessReview:
Prof. Brown gives interesting lectures with a lot of information. This course may move a little fast for some if they don't have strong intro. micro & macroeconomic backgrounds. Prof. Brown is very visual, and this class involves a lot of diagrams (bring multiple colored pencils to exams). Prof. Brown often answers questions with a question which can be very frustrating.
Workload:
One problem set every week; a fairly average amount of reading, though the material is dense; Four exams including the final . . . final is optional.
