Tufts University: Chih Ming Tan - Economics - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
His lectures were really dry but there wasn't that much information taught. I liked how he always reviewed what we went over in the last class at the beginning of class. BUT he is a really hard grader and usually isn't big on regarding exams that you think he should have given you more points for. His tries to be as available as possible which is nice.

There were readings assigned but they weren't really needed for tests or anything, just extra understanding. There were 4problem sets but they are only worth 10% of the grade and he drops the lowest. He's a pretty harsh grader in terms of the presentation and paper though. And writing the paper is stupid cuz' he makes you write it as a group, very inefficient, should just make us get information together but write separate papers. Test questions were not always clear. He tries to be fairly nice though.
