Review:
Neil is a very nice guy. He's very relaxed and an actual journalist for the Boston Globe. Though his teaching skills are not typical, he gets the point across about what it's like to be and write as a journalist. Neil is very easy-going on his students and his hand-in dates, but all in all, a good class and a good teacher. A great class to take if you're interested in journalism or writing for the Daily.

Workload:
9 or 10 different types of articles (2 news reports, 2 reviews, 2 features, a final long feature, 2 short biography-esqe pieces) All are between 4-5 pages, except the final piece which is 10. Also, one presentation.
