Tufts University: Hazel Bright - English - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Review: I don't know what these students are talking about who gave a positive review of Professor Bright. Professor Bright is hands-down the worst professor I've had at Tufts and, perhaps, my entire life. Not only did I learn absolutely nothing in her class, I may have gotten dumber. I will never forget how she mde us take a field trip around the corner and made us play a game of simon says on the way. If you want to be treated like an infant, you should take this class. Professor Bright has no helpful comments to make on papers or in class, and it is painful to watch her try to teach.

Review: She really wants you to be involved in the class. If you have something to say about the texts she will be delighted. A truly wonderful teacher!
Workload: Very straightforward, readings and responses.

Review: Professor Bright is the sweetest professor! She keeps her classes interesting by telling us stories of her own, lots of engaging discussions, and she is always, always willing to give extra help if any of her students is having trouble with a paper. She is very accessible, is always enthusiastic about the course she teaches, and genuinely cares about her students - she is an excellent professor and I strongly recommend her African-American Presence course.
Workload: There is one book and several readings from the Reader and other hand-outs. The amount of reading assigned is not too heavy and there are about four papers and one research paper on a topic of your choice concerning the African-American Presence.
