Review:
Professor Bright is the sweetest professor! She keeps her classes interesting by telling us stories of her own, lots of engaging discussions, and she is always, always willing to give extra help if any of her students is having trouble with a paper. She is very accessible, is always enthusiastic about the course she teaches, and genuinely cares about her students - she is an excellent professor and I strongly recommend her African-American Presence course.

Workload:
There is one book and several readings from the Reader and other hand-outs. The amount of reading assigned is not too heavy and there are about four papers and one research paper on a topic of your choice concerning the African-American Presence.
