Tufts University: ENG091A - Girls' Books - English - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccessReview:
In-class discussion was always interesting, though Professor Flynn failed to reel people in who thought that the class was personal storytime. The course material was very interesting, but it wasn't always really necessary to go to class to understand the concepts presented. Professor was certainly enthusiastic about course material, and very much cared about her students.
Workload:
One book was assigned per one or two classes, but as the books are for little girls, they take no more than an hour and a half to read. Two papers of 5-7 pages are due during the semester, and a final paper of 10 pages was due at the end of the semester. However, the final paper was a choice of either an analytical paper, like the first two, or a creative writing piece. This class was VERY easy.
