Tufts University: Lecia Rosenthal - English - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Review:
Professor Rosenthal is extremely intelligent but, unless surrounded by particularly proactive students, she tends to just talk at the class from a far away desk. She seems to be concerned with her students but is somewhat aloof and talking to her after class is no improvement. What I learned in this course is from my own thinking and analyzing, not from class time.
Workload:
This is a nicely straightforward class. Read a novel a week and write a half-page response. There are two fairly short papers per semester and a final take-home paper. Professor Rosenthal is a good grader: she expects tight and insightful analysis but not anything beyond appropriate student level.
