Review:
She encourages critical thinking and exposes the complexity of various theories, concepts, and ideologies. I enjoy her sense of humor which makes some of the heady and theoretical essays more palatable. She is constantly questioning and deconstructing everything.

She provides wonderful feedback on papers. While she encourages class discussion, her complex prose can be daunting and difficult to comprehend at 9pm at night. She is tolerant of various views and encourages her students to come up with alternative ones.

I would definitely be a repeat offender in one of her courses.

My suggestion: She needs to either pretend or become more open and considerate to "obvious" and "stupid" student responses. Learning can be painful, but there is no need for a professor to look at you like you are an idiot, even if you are.

Workload:
Typical workload with straightforward assignments. I wish the texts had been on reserve at the library to deter the inflated price of the feminist reader and other texts.
