Tufts University: Adam Piggott - Mathematics - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Review: Lectures were ambiguous and he tried making up for it being humorous and smug so I often sat in another section. He was at times arctic about students extra efforts to make progress. He had a distant character outside of class, which seemed unpleasant. Office hour atmosphere was uncomfortable asking direct questions because of his blank stares and hesitance to answer questions clearly. A good guy but that doesn?t teach you the material. There are far better professors so take them.
Workload: Consistent workload and tests were harder than Hw could prepare you for unless you don?t mind unfair surprises.

Review: He is very concerned about the students. He is clear. He is funny. He is passionate. I enjoy being in his class.
Workload: Not that bad. Do the practice tests and show up to review classes and do not copy the answer book for your homework problems.

Review: Although he was a little bit unclear at times, he made the class as lively as he could, and he was extremely concerned with student's progress and always available outside of class, which helped since he was a lot clearer one on one than in the limited allotted time in class. Good guy overall and funny.
Workload: Same workload for every math class, the homeworks are really helpful, something I didn't figure out until later on, but READ the examples in the book, it all makes so much sense if you do.
