Tufts University: Jonathan Bihari - Mathematics - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Review: Joh Bihari is one of, if not the best professor I've had at Tufts. He presents complicated topics in a straight forward manner and attending class is always rewarding. Bihari is funny, down-to-earth and really cares about your progress in the course. You should not take this class from anyone else.
Workload: The typical math class workload.

Review: Bihari is the man. He relates all material to food. Which is cool because he is a large Italian man. He is very accessible and is more than willing to help. The course structure is the same as math 11 and 12. The material is taught but he makes it fun.
Workload: Same as any other math course at Tufts.

Review: Jon is a very easy-going guy and a pretty laid back professor. His explanations are always very clear and very helpful. He doesn't care much if you don't do the assignments, but don't throw away extra points because they do make a difference. IF you choose to not do the homework, still try to go to every single class. Going to class every time, you can easily get a good grade. It's hard for a lot of people to show up, since the subject itself is very very awfully boring and tedious. But he is a funny guy. He's fine with people being a little late too. He's a little too laid back sometimes... you find it hard to go to class every time since he's so lenient.
Workload: Assignments for every class, there are 3 midterms and 1 final. Workload is not too bad... just show up in class and take good notes and you're all set. Assignments are more for your own chance of doing practice problems than anything. You hand them in, but they don't even have to be complete to get a "check".

Review: Jon explains concepts very clearly, so, even though the material is not very exciting, he makes it interesting. He also really cares about each student's success and makes an effort to be sure that everyone understands all of the information.
Workload: Homework for each class; the same as all math 12 sections

Review: Wonderful class! I didn't do so well (Math12 is hard.. damn series), but it was fun nonetheless. Jon is a great teacher, he cares about how his students do, and is always available for help.
Workload: All Math12 classes have the exact same homework workload.
