Tufts University: Misha Kilmer - Mathematics - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Review:
Prof. Kilmer was quite a good teacher - straight, and to the point. She didn?t dilly-dally around in class, and in most cases this was helpful because she dealt directly with the course material. However, a few times this resulted in some of the material going over my head, since she went a little too fast in certain sections. However, careful reading of the text were enough to understand what she meant....as long as you paid attention in class.
Workload:
The workload varied, since it was mainly homework assignments. Sometimes you would have 10 problems due in for the next morning, sometimes fewer. However, it?s easily manageable even if you try to do it an hour before class starts. Only 23 out of 33 HW assignments were required, but each extra HW assignment adds 0.2% to your final grade, which can make or break a grade barrier.

Review:
Friendly and kind as a person and clear and intelligent as a professor. She was always willing to help if someone didn't understand something in class, and was obviously interested in and knowledgeable of the material.
Workload:
Workload was appropriate for the course. Homework due every class, 3 tests and a final.
