Tufts University: E. Todd Quinto - Mathematics - Professor ratings, reviews and much more | JumboAccess
Review:
Although the exams are sometimes considered annoying, Quinto makes up for them (they're department exams, so all MATH-12 students take them, not just his class which is why its not graded) by his avid and active presentation of the material. This is not just another boring, monotone math teacher. He may not get every problem he solves right on the board (which is funny in class, because we have to correct him) but his spunky nature and enthusiasm about the material makes his class an incredibly entertaining experience. However, if you are into "Perfect" teachers who get nothing wrong and never make mistakes, and you do not care about how engaging they are (ie. they are dry and boring and that doesn't bother you), then Quinto is not for you. Other then the occasional wrong variable or coefficient, his class is BY FAR the best math class I have ever been in to date (or at least the most entertaining). Its a shame that not all teachers are as enthusiastic as him.
